Jedinstveno obrađenim fasadama obuhvaćene su sve razvojne faze kuće i time postignut celovit prostorni utisak. U kući je 20. X 1789. rođen Dimitrije Davidović, književnik i novinar, srpski diplomata, ministar prosvete obnovljene Srbije i pisac Sretenjskog ustava.

Кuća se odlikuje kulturno-istorijskim i ambijentalnim vrednostima, usklađenim proporcijama, jednostavnošću i doslednošću u obradi fasadnog platna.

Predstavlja skromniju varijantu gradske klasicističke kuće.

Glavna 6

Cultural monument of great value
House where Dimitrije Davidović
was born,
6, Glavna Street

The house at the corner of Glavna and Davidovićeva Streets, with an inner courtyard, represents a complex house developed from the mid-eighteenth to mid-nineteenth century. A typical one-storey residential house with two tracts, six windows on Glavna Street and three windows overlooking Davidovićeva Street, got much longer fronts on both street by extensions.

The uniform facades comprise all the development phases of the building and contribute to an integral spatial impression. According to local legend, Dimitrije Davidović was born there on October 20, 1789. He was an author and journalist, Serbian diplomat, Minister of Education in the new Serbia and author of its constitution.

The house has numerous cultural-historic and ambient values, harmonic proportions, simplicity and coherence in the treatment of its facades. It represents a more modest variation of the classicistic town house.

It was registered as cultural heritage of great importance.
