Hram Svetog Arhangela Gavrila u Batajnici

Predstavlja najstariji arhitektonski spomenik i glavnu urbanističko-prostornu dominantu ovog naselja.

U crkvi se čuvaju umetnička dela izuzetne kulturne vrednosti: ikonostas sa 54 ikone koje se pripisuju istaknutom srpskom baroknom slikaru Teodoru Кračunu, zatim 28 ikona poznatog zemunskog slikara XIX veka Živka Petrovića, kao i niz dela primenjene umetnosti XVIII i XIX veka i nekoliko retkih knjiško-arhivskih predmeta.

Cultural monument
Church of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel,
2, Pukovnika Milenka Pavlovića Street, Batajnica

The church was built between 1780 and 1785 on the spot where an older, eighteenth century church used to stand, as a single nave building with a semi-circular apse, narthex and a high, three-storey Baroque belfry. It represents the oldest architectural monument and the dominant town-planning and spatial edifice in the small town.

The church keeps artworks of exceptional cultural value: the iconostasis with fifty-four icons by the renowned Baroque painter Teodor Kračun, twenty-eight icons by the well-known Zemun nineteenth century painter Živko Petrović, and a series of applied art objects from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, as well as several rare books and archival items.
